Audit Manager Responsibilities:
> Planning audit, review, and compilation engagements
> Managing engagement teams during audit, review, and compilation fieldwork
> Supervision of staff on engagements
> Developing and monitoring job budgets
> Managing appropriate due dates
> Reviewing financial statements and SAS 114 letters
> Presenting financial statement and audit findings to clients
> Working closely with partners
> Maintaining client contacts and communication
> Train audit staff
> Delegating responsibility and work assignments
Audit Manager Qualifications:
> Certified Public Accountant
> Seven years of recent public accounting audit experience
> Audit experience in industry, non-profit, cities, schools
> Experience with GAAS
> Experience with financial statement drafting and reporting
> Knowledge of tax return preparation
> Computer and technology skills
> Practical experience in a paperless environment
